News today of Hollow Heart, a fourth long-player from The Hanging Stars, scheduled for release on Loose Music on 25th March. The accomplished London five-piece; renowned purveyors of blissful psychedelic folk and harmony-laden cosmic country; recorded the album at Edwyn Collins’ Clashnarrow Studios in North-Eastern Scotland with Sean Read producing; scaling fresh artistic heights, creating music more sonically varied, more contemporary, and less in awe of its influences.
The first single ‘Radio On’ more than amply confirms this; sadly Omicron put paid to their appearance this week at a projected Loose Showcase at the Amauk Conference but hopefully they’ll be back on a stage before very much longer.
